This set is made for those days when you truly let the wind blow through your hair. I wanted to capture the cool coastal air, that freshness that shapes sand and sea and blows everything clean. The "Dünenwind" (Dune Wind) design reflects precisely this simplicity and power of the North. It's an honest, structured pattern that does without much frills yet convinces with its sophistication.

The cuff is knitted in a classic 2-knit-2-purl pattern. The symmetrical main pattern is created with slipped stitches, making it particularly easy to knit. I love hats with pom-poms, so all my hats have one. But it's not a must.

The Meaning of the Name

The name "Dünenwind" (Dune Wind) stands for the energy that shapes our coastal landscape. It is the wind that drives the sand before it and constantly reshapes the dunes. This set embodies exactly this movement. The clear lines in the stitch pattern look like small drifts of wind. It is an integral part of my Coastal Collection because it not only keeps you warm but also gives you that feeling of freedom and vastness, no matter where you are.
