Some patterns tell stories and some are reminiscent of a time when even the smallest details had meaning.
Coat of Arms from the Highland Collection was inspired by historical coats of arms, by clear shapes, strong contrasts, and that special blend of tradition, strength, and elegance.
The two-colour (Fair Isle) pattern is striking without being overloaded, and with its clear lines, it is reminiscent of ancient clan symbols and artfully crafted coats of arms of bygone eras.
What makes these socks special
Even the cuff is a small highlight:
The knit stitches are worked in anthracite, while the purl stitches are worked in natural white. This creates a beautiful two-colour effect right from the start, which transitions perfectly into the rest of the design. If you are brave, you can also knit with a different colour combination here to add another small accent.
The two-colour (Fair Isle) pattern then harmoniously extends over the sock and thrives on clear lines and strong contrasts.
The combination of natural tone and medium anthracite creates a calm, yet expressive overall look that perfectly matches the mood of the Highland Collection. The sole has been deliberately kept simple this time, but still holds a small highlight.
This not only creates a special knitting project but also a sock with an extraordinary look and a beautiful fit.
Meaning of the Name
The name Coat of Arms means "Wappen" (coat of arms) and stands for the historical signs and symbols that once represented families, origin, or affiliation.
Precisely this powerful and structured effect is also reflected in the design of these socks.
